These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Vilingo website, early‑access materials, and related services (“Services”). “Vilingo is currently operated by Tyler Le and Phat Le as a joint sole proprietorship. By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. Parents and guardians may allow their children to use the learning content under their supervision.

2. Accounts

When you create an account, you agree to:

  • be responsible for all activity under your account

3. Early Access & Free Subscriptions

During the pre‑launch period, Vilingo may offer:

  • free 6‑month subscriptions

  • early‑adopter access

  • promotional content

These offers are provided as‑is, may change at any time, and do not guarantee future access or pricing.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • misuse the Services

  • attempt to access systems without authorization

  • copy, distribute, or reverse‑engineer the app or content

  • upload harmful code or interfere with the platform

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

5. Intellectual Property

All content, artwork, lessons, characters, audio, and branding within Vilingo are owned by the creator and protected by copyright and other laws.

You may not:

  • reproduce

  • distribute

  • modify

  • resell

any part of the Services without written permission.

6. User Content

If you submit feedback, suggestions, or ideas, you grant Vilingo a non‑exclusive, royalty‑free license to use that input to improve the Services.

You retain ownership of any content you upload (if applicable).

7. Privacy

Your use of the Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains:

  • what information we collect

  • how we use it

  • how you can request deletion

By using the Services, you consent to the practices described in the Privacy Policy.

8. Children’s Use

Vilingo is designed for children, but accounts must be created and managed by a parent or guardian.

We follow COPPA guidelines and collect minimal information about children.

We may modify, update, or discontinue parts of the Services at any time, including:

  • early‑access offerings

  • subscription terms

We will notify users of significant changes when appropriate.

10. Disclaimers

  • error‑free performance

You use the Services at your own risk.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • its creator

  • and any collaborators

are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Services.

If liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the Services, if any.

We may suspend or terminate your access if:

  • you misuse the Services

  • we discontinue the platform

You may also terminate your account at any time.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to conflict‑of‑law principles.
